Your vocation - the call of your soul

There are questions in life that go deeper than any everyday concern. Questions that creep into your heart again and again - especially in moments of silence or dissatisfaction:

  • Why am I here?
  • What is my purpose in this life?
  • What does my soul really want to live?

These questions are no coincidence. They are a call - a quiet yet persistent call from your soul. A reminder of something greater than yourself: Your vocation. It is laid out in your soul plan - the blueprint of your life that was created before your incarnation.

When we talk about setting challenging goals in the first lesson of the Think.Act.Achieve coaching, it is important that you know the key points of your own vocation. Otherwise, we would methodically and correctly define and implement goals that may run counter to your own vocation - and are therefore potentially unsatisfactory and energetically unsustainable, with a high probability of failure later on.

That's why I have put the step of the awareness space first, where we take a fundamental look at your purpose and your soul plan. This step distinguishes my coaching significantly from the many coaching programs on the market.

What does “vocation” really mean?

The term “vocation” is often confused with career or success. But in truth, it is about something deeper: your vocation is the very own expression of your soul in this world. It is what wants to work through you - with your gifts, your experiences, your nature.

Your vocation is not created by external circumstances. It is built into you from the very beginning, like an inner compass that guides you through this life. Even if you have distanced yourself from it or cannot yet see it clearly - it lives within you. It cannot be lost.

Vocation is not what you make up - it is what calls you.

Why so many people are not (yet) living their vocation

We live in a world that is geared towards performance, security and conformity. From an early age, we learn how we "should be" in order to fit in. We choose professions, partners or paths in life that promise us stability - but often do not nourish our souls. And so many feel empty inside, even though “everything seems okay”. They feel an emptiness, a latent sadness or restlessness that cannot be resolved through consumption, career or distraction.

Typical signs that you are not (yet) living your vocation:

  • You feel alienated in your own life.
  • You are functioning, but you are not really living.
  • You sense that there is “more” in you - but you don't know what.
  • You keep experiencing professional or emotional dead ends.
  • You are afraid of change, but also of carrying on as before.

This inner tension is not a mistake - it's a wake-up call. Your soul is knocking. I am here to help you hear it.

How you can recognize your vocation

The path to your own destiny is not an intellectual process. You cannot plan it, you cannot force it - you can only remember it. And this often happens in stages, through recognizing, feeling, letting go and trusting.

Here are some central keys that can help you discover your purpose:

1️⃣ Listen to what is calling you - not what you “should”

  • What has always fascinated you?
  • What topics, professions or forms of expression keep popping up in your life - even if you suppress them?
  • What would you do if no one judged you - and you knew that you could not fail?

Your vocation often shows itself in things that you love - but perhaps never took “seriously”.

2️⃣ Pay attention to recurring life themes and patterns

Your story is no coincidence. The challenges that have shaped you are often part of your spiritual purpose:

  • What have you yourself overcome, healed, transformed?
  • What do you encounter again and again in relationships, work or inner conflicts?
  • Where have you been “shaken awake” - by crises, losses, illnesses?

Many people recognize their vocation in retrospect: The trace of their experiences forms a picture that suddenly fits together like a puzzle.

3️⃣ Recognize your gifts - even the ones you have long overlooked

Your natural abilities are not coincidences. They are indications of what you are here for:

  • What comes easily to you while others struggle?
  • What are you asked for advice on - again and again?
  • What would you do even if you didn't get paid for it?

Intuitive, emotional or creative talents are also part of this. Many people underestimate their “soft” abilities - and yet it is often precisely these that are the source of their vocation.

4️⃣ Trust your inner voice

Your intuition knows your soul's path. The more you learn to listen within - through meditation, mindfulness, nature or creative processes - the clearer your guidance becomes:

  • What does your body say when something is not (or no longer) right?
  • Which inner images or dreams keep recurring?
  • When do you really feel at home within yourself?

If your inner voice is not loud enough for you, you need to become quieter in your mind.

The “consciousness realm for your personal vocation” is precisely designed to illuminate these topics with you. With energy work  and ThetaHealing® we release your blockages and unhelpful beliefs.
