It often happens “by chance”, often under unusual circumstances. It is not an ordinary encounter. You immediately sense: this is different. It can feel like an awakening - your heart recognizes something that your mind cannot yet grasp.

With closeness come the shadows. Unprocessed issues, fears, control patterns or addictions are activated. The dual soul mercilessly mirrors everything that has not yet healed - in you and in her.

Almost every dual soul journey experiences a point at which one leaves and one stays. The so-called 'chaser' (the heart focused person, usually with dominant female energy, regardless of physical gender) with emotional dependence on the other person, fear of loss and lack of focus on themselves, seeks answers, struggles, despairs - and begins to find themselves and come into self-love. In contrast, the “runner” (the mind focused person, usually with dominant male energy, regardless of physical gender) withdraws emotionally or physically because of being overwhelmed by the feelings of the other person, withdraws - and begins to recognize themselves, to accept vulnerability and to develop authenticity.

5 Healing - inner work

The separation forces both to turn inwards. Old childhood wounds, karmic entanglements and belief patterns can be recognized, felt and transformed. This is the phase in which the real soul work begins for both of them - regardless of whether the other half is present or not.

6 Integration - return to personal responsibility

Over time, it becomes clear that the dual soul is a mirror - not a savior. The connection remains, but the pain changes. You learn to become whole from within yourself. You integrate light and shadow and return to yourself.
